BBC predicts what life will be like in 100 years.

People love trying to predict the future. In 1911, Thomas Edison made a list of things he expected to see in the year of 2011 and some of them were fairly close. This year, the BBC put their sciencey people to the task of trying to imagine what life will be like 100 years from now, in the year 2112. While some things will look familiar, 2112 will be a strange world indeed.

Some of the things the BBC thinks will be commonplace in 2112 are telepathic communication, robots that are indistinguishable from humans and a single, worldwide currency.
